This week represents an interesting milestone for us. This is the first time we draw a strip where you have to be a habitual reader to get it. Even our trilogy of horrors were, more or less, standalone. If you aren’t one of our weekly readers, you’re probably scratching your head right about now, staring at the comic strip with a pathetic WTF look in your face. If you are one of our readers, you’re probably chuckling.

This is one of those comic strips whose set-up was taken almost verbatim from one of our conversations. We were at Rick’s apartment, looking at our readers’ reactions to the now infamous (and classic!) Eleven Secret Spices, having some micro-brewery beers and laughing at the comments here and on Facebook. We noticed a little message left by the brewers’, called Brewmaster Notes, in the beer bottles’ label, a message that was both poetic and incredibly cheesy. When “yeast” was mentioned, of course, a “vagina” followed. And there was much rejoicing.

We realized we needed to make a comic about this and the punchline came naturally. Hope you enjoyed it.

And remember, our strips are as dirty as your mind wants them to be.
