Geek Mission Control is pleased to announce that the mission to Kaisen 4 Entertainment Fair was a complete success. The convention, organized by the awesome team behind Paquines.com, broke attendance records from previous Kaisen cons. It was well organized, full of people and fun was had all around.
When we went to Kaisen 3 back in April, we barely had a month’s worth of comics. Nobody knew who we were or what we were doing there, some people even stared at us as if we were freaking aliens. During the convention we worked on a comic strip (which you shall see next Sunday!), got interviewed by a T.V. crew and handed out inscription forms for our new Be A Geek Contest. The response was outstanding. We are even considering calling the Xara people for an endorsement deal, since many graphic artists that were watching as we worked on the comic bombarded us with questions about the software were were using to draw.
From all of this, my favorite moment was when a fan asked us for our autographs. I wish to thank that fan for thinking us important enough to sign a comic for him. It was a really nice feeling, made us all warm and fuzzy inside.
